Committed to adhere and enforce the tripod policy thrust of the Comptroller General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi MFR, anchored on more revenue generation, suppression of Smuggling activities and enhance trade facilitation with a healthy work life balance, the Eastern Marine Command of the NCS, the amphibious arm of the service in-charge of the southern part of the country in Port-harcourt has successfully organized a monthly work-life balance and
aerobic exercise in collaboration with the Association of Heads of Federal Government Establishment (AHFGE).
In his remarks, the Customs Area Controller, CAC, Comptroller Chika Dim, said, “The aimed of the work life balance is to promote
physical well-being, team work, and camaraderie among participants.”
Comptroller Dim, asserted, “The
importance of physical fitness and work-life balance in accordance with the Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) CGC, Adewale Adeniyi MFR is to encouraged participants to prioritize their health
and well-being with an inherent benefits of good health and stress free-management.”
In the same vein, Compt. Chika DIM, extols the Comptroller General of Customs, CGC, Adewale Adeniyi MFR, as chairperson Council of World Customs Organization, the CAC said, ” Your election as Chairman Council of WCo is a call to service and a huge confidence reposed in your unwavering commitment and zeal for reforms and robust synergies created in Nigeria Customs Service, ”
The CAC added, ” We at Eastern Marine Command celebrates your leadership qualities and outstanding human relations to build partnerships. ”
In her response, the chairperson of the AHFGE, Rivers state chapter, Mrs Ifeyinwa James ably represented by the vice chairman of the Association Mr. Abdul-Salami Babatunde, expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the
Comptroller, Nigeria Customs Service, Eastern Marine Command,
Comptroller CC Dim for his unwavering commitment to the Association with the initiative of a Work-Life Balance and Aerobic exercise for her members.
Her words: “The role of this initiative in achieving
organizational goals through a healthy lifestyle and work-life balance cannot be overemphasised. ”
In the same vein, Compt Chika DIM, extolled the outstanding leadership qualities of the Comptroller General of Customs, on his emergence as Chairperson Council of World Customs Organization, as, ” Visionary and purposeful with an unalloyed commitment and resourcefulness to improve the standards and service delivery of World Customs Organization. “
