In accordance with the tripod policy thrust of the Comptroller General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi MFR, aimed to suppress smuggling activities, generate revenue and create robust synergies, the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone ‘C’ of the Nigeria Customs Service has remained committed, focused and on red alert against defaulters and economic saboteurs.

In a chat with GLOBAL RAYS, the Customs Area Controller, CAC, FOU Zone ‘C’, Compt Abdullahi Balogun said,  “The zone  has remained committed and resilient to adhere  and enforce zero tolerance for smuggling activities across the zone. ”

In furthermore to that,  GLOBAL RAYS Investigation revealed, that Compt. Abdullahi Balogun has deployed strategic approach and all inclusive synergies with critical stakeholders on the need to embrace and adhere to the policy thrust of the Comptroller General of Customs aimed to generate more revenue, suppress smuggling activities and create robust trade facilitation.

Since Comptroller Balogun took over at FOU Zone  ‘C’ several interactive stakeholders interactive forum initiated by the CAC aimed to put alll importers, exporters and traders alike on same page accordance with the fiscal policy of the federal government.

The CAC have reaffirmed, on several occasions that the unit encourage genuine traders on trade facilitation but warned that the unit will not condone any action or inaction to undermine the policy thrust of the Comptroller General of Custons, Adewale Adeniyi, MFR
