In appreciation and recognition of the various health policies and programs doled out by the Katsina State Government, the Kanwan Katsina Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara mini, has commended the government for various Health policies and programs currently been implemented in the state; such as, immunization campaigns against measles, polio, malaria, and other six child killer diseases, as well as antenatal care services.
This information was contained in a statement issued signed by the Media aide, Sarkin Labarun Kanwan Katsina Jamilu Hashimu Gora and made available to GLOBAL RAYS Media.
The statement reads in part: “The Kanwan Katsina Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara mni , said, the health officials of Kankara Local Government recently paid him an advocacy visit in his palace and discussed the immunization exercise in the Local Government and requested for his cooperation and assistance for the success of the exercise in Ketare District.”
Sequel to the advocacy visit, the Kanwan Katsina District Head of Ketareb has directed all the village and ward heads in Ketare District to commenced a robust campaign to ensure the success of the immunization exercise.
In the same vein, the District head, has directed Imams in the district to enlighten their faithful on the need to ensure success of the ongoing immunization exercise in Friday sermon and five daily prayers.
The Kanwan Katsina, asserted, “Parents should ensure that their children are properly immunized as the importance of the routine immunization exercise and antenatal care for the mothers in rural areas cannot be overemphasized.”
Speaking further, the monarch charged the people of his domain to always use mosquito nets distributed effectively to their homes to prevent malaria and against the misuse in farmlands.
The Kanwan Katsina Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara mni, said, “On behalf of the good people of Ketare District, I express my deep appreciation to the Katsina State government for the distribution of nutritious food to combat malnutrition.”
However, the Monarch called on the communities to continue the support for the state government policies and programs for the betterment of their health and wellbeing.
