The President Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents, ANLCA, Hon Tony Iju Nwanunike, has expressed his deep shock over the demise of Otunba Kunle Folarin.
Nwanunike said, “Folarin was a believer in the emancipation of the Nigerian economy through a robust maritime sector. He left us even when we needed him the most.”
This information was contained in a statement issued signed by the National President, ANLCA, Hon Tony Iju Nwanunike and made available to GLOBAL RAYS Media.
The statement reads in part: “The death of the renowned maritime expert, has left a void in our maritime industry where he has contributed immensely from his knowledge and experience. His contributions were, no doubt, invaluable to the Nigerian maritime industry.”
He added, “Otunba Folarin was a believer in the emancipation of the Nigerian economy through a robust maritime sector, saying “Baba left us even when we needed him the most.”
Nwabunike condoled with the late Folarin’s widow, children, other members of his immediate family and the entire Nigerian maritime community.
