CUSTOMS TIN CAN ISLAND COMMAND MONTHLY REVENUE HITS ₦159B… As The CAC Decorates Promoted Officers

The Nigeria Customs Service,   the Tincan Island Customs Command has broken its revenue record as it achieved a landmark revenue of ₦159 billion for the month of August 2025. This revelation was made by the Customs  Area Controller of the command, Comptroller Frank Onyeka during the decoration ceremony of newly promoted officers.

In his remarks, comptroller Frank Onyeka, credited the revenue milestone to the successful deployment of the B’Odogwu system and ongoing trade modernization initiatives. He emphasized the system’s transformative impact, stating, “B’Odogwu is doing well and it will do better. It has come to stay.”

His words:  “The B’Odogwu platform integrates faster cargo processing, accurate valuation, and real-time monitoring of port activities. ”

During the promotion exercise, 89% of officers at the command received new ranks, reflecting the leadership of Comptroller General Bashir Adewale Adeniyi and the dedication of the officers. Among those decorated was Oscar Ivara, the Public Relations Officer, who was elevated to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Customs (CSC).

Comptroller Onyeka urged the newly promoted officers to uphold their performance and integrity, he asserted, “Keep the flag flying without being misunderstood.” His remarks reaffirm the command’s commitment to efficient trade facilitation, national revenue growth, and support for port stakeholders.
