The Customs Area Controller, Federal Operations Unit, Zone B Kaduna, Compt. Bello Shuaibu, has said, ” The Federal operations Unit Zone B has remained committed and focused on compliance with the fiscal policy of the federal government and rules of Operations in intercepting illicit items and smuggling activities.’
Compt Shuaibu disclosed this information at the Comptroller General of Customs Conference 2024.
Shuaibu added, ” Kaduna has the highest number of retired senior customs officers and in view of that more security support and arms are needed for adequate safeguarding of their lives and properties.”
Compt . Bello Shuaibu asserted, “The Unit has mobilized a proactive and pragmatic response and intelligence operational approach that ensure prompt interception of contraband and under payment in accordance with the Extant laws.”
