The Newly elected National President, Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents, ANLCA, has arrived his operational base Port Harcourt in pomp and pegantery with cultural displays and fun to the admiration of all ANLCA members and officials in attendance.
The occasion attracted most ANLCA stalwarts in the Eastern Zone who lauded the humility, resourcefulness and steadfastness of the new president.
In his remarks, the Former National of ANLCA, Chief. Ernest Elochukwu, said, “Election is over all ANLCA members from all works of life should on board to build a formidable, respected and purposeful Association that will accord it’ s relevance and role in the nation building ”
Elochukwu added, “It’s time for work aimed to protect the interest of ANLCA members and cater for the welfare of members operational activities. And members should beef up their operational skills and capacities for a more united and productive ANLCA with the interest of members at utmost concern.”
In his response, the National President, Mr. Emenike Nwokeoji, said, ” To God be all the glory for the victory and there’s no Victor and no vanquish. We are back from a tough road to serve our people and restore the glory and status of ANLCA. I want to extend my heart felt thanks to my mentor, Sir Ernest Elochukwu and all those who stood by me.
Reacting, the Zonal Secretary, ANLCA, Mrs Chinyere Okere, said, ” We thank God for the return of peace in ANLCA, the emergence of Emenike Nwokeoji is a good omen; he tutored me in this profession and am sure he will deliver and improve on the values and operations of the association.”
The Zonal Coordinator, Eastern Zone, Joshua Ahuama, said, “On behalf of the zone, I thanked all in attendance and assure you better days ahead in the association”
Finally, the former zonal chairman, Chief Uche Martins, said, ” ANLCA is in a save hands and everybody should give him all the needed and necessary support to excel.”
