ANLCA ELECTION: SEGUN ALABI DECLARES INTEREST FOR OFFICE OF THE ASSISTANT NATIONAL SECRETARY…..As he pledged technological advancement in ANLCA

An astute and resourceful licensed customs agent, who have proved his mettle and dexterity consistently in productive and purposeful service delivery; and a frontline customs broker, Mr. Oluwasegun Alabi , has officially indicated interest to contest for the office of Assistant National Secretary,  Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANCLA).

Alabi who is Managing Director, Factotum Nigeria Limited, a licensed customs agency of the Nigeria Customs service obtained his form recently in Lagos .

Ahead of the 2023 election of the association, which is expected to hold in July, the customs broker who spoke with GLOBAL RAYS Media shortly after obtaining his form to contest as Assistant scribe; pledged his total support for a great Association.

The ANLCA Chieftain who was a former secretary of the Association’s Electoral Commission (ASECO) and a former Public Relations Officer, Tin Can Island Chapter respectively , is expected to bring his wealth of knowledge to the position vying for.

Prince Alabi, asserted,   “ANLCA is about to witness an era of technological advancement in the aforementioned position when elected.”

He assured to work as a team player with other elected national officers of the ANLCA adding that the era of disunity within the Association is over.

Reacting on his role when elected, Alabi,  opined that, “Am going to be working with the substantive National Secretary to achieve that overall objective of the team.”

He posited,  “As you know, after the president, who has a vice president, the only position that has a vice or call it assistant is secretary. That means the drafter of our structure and constitution appreciate the enamous task in those 2 office. It not really about ego or position. It is about adding value and helping the team to promote and project a new ANLCA.”

Adding, ” Let watch out for a technological revolution. Why can’t ANLCA have an online platform where the national secretariat can interface with 3 zones? Reducing pressure on the National Secretariat!.”

He reiterated, “The present National Secretary and his Assistant has build a vibrant secretariat, their achievements is laudable! We shall sustain, build on their works and take it to the next level.”
