In line with it’s Mission and Vision aimed to improve revenue generation, Suppress Smuggling and Facilitate Trade, the Management of Nigeria Customs Service has approved appointment in acting capacities two Deputy Comptroller General of Customs, six Assistant Comptroller General of Customs and redeployed some Comotrollers sequel to their unalloyed commitment, disciplined and high level fiscal policies compliance and enforcement.
This information was contained in a statement issued signed by the Service, NCS, Public Relations Officer, DC Joseph Attah and made available to GLOBAL RAYS Media.
The statement reads in part: “Ag. Deputy Comptroller-General (DCG) Katherine Ekekezie, Excise, Free Trade Zone and Industrial Incentive (Exc, FTZ & II); Ag. DCG Elton Edorhe is now in charge of Enforcement, Investigation and Inspection (E,I&I); Ag. ACG Kayode Olusemire in charge of Zone C as Zonal Coordinator; Ag. ACG Obi Ekwealor take charge of Human Resources & Development; Ag. ACG Bede Anyanwu takes over Strategic Research and policy (SR&P); Ag. ACG Lena Oyama, Board; Ag. ACG Florence Inuk in charge of TRADOC (Doctorine & Development); Ag. ACG Lami Wushishi takes charge of (Exc, FTZ & II).”
In view of maximizing optimal productivity and efficient service delivery, the following were also redeployed to different offices: ACG Modupe Aremu from E, FTZ & II to Zone A Headquarters; ACG Jack Ajoku from SR&P to Zone D Headquarters; Ag. ACG Uba Mohammed from E,I&I to Zone B Headquarters; Ag. ACG Usman Dakingari from TRADOC (Doctrine & Development) to E,I&I; Comptroller Ifueko Babalola takes over Port Harcourt Oil & Gas as Area Controller; Uche Ngozi assumes duty as Controller Ondo/Ekiti; Danlami Haruna (Bauchi /Gombe); Sambo Dangaladima (MMAC) while Ag. Comptroller Enonche Ochiba takes over Western Marine Command;
The Ag. Appointments and redeployment are with immediate effect.In his remarks, The Comptroller-General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd), congratulated the newly appointed and charged all the affected Senior Officers to work hard in order to justify the confidence repose on them.
