OKIGWE SENATE: RELEASE C.O.R TO APC….Group demands

The Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC ). has continued to receive questions on their acclaimed independence over their inability to issue the Certificate of return to the Winner of Okigwe Dec. 5th 2020 Senatorial bye-election .
A coalition of Imo Youths from Christian Support Network and Imo Hope alive Movements, under the aegies of Imo youth Movements who stormed the Headquarters of INEC at Port Harcourt Road ,Owerri demanded for explainations on why the Certificate of return has not been issued to the APC Candidate ,Frank Ibezim .
3 Leaders of the delegation who addressed Newsmen disclosed that INEC Failure in releasing the C.O.R has added more Sorrow to Constituents of Okigwe zone as nobody Speaks or represents their interests on issues at the Red Chambers.
Comrade Nmadu Marcelinus and Ambassador Linus Chidebere Ogoke , state Co-ordinator and Secretary general respectively for Imo Hope Alive observed that the electoral umpire should lead investigations into any discrepancy involving any Candidate especially academic documentations .
The group opined that WAEC office is not far for INEC to do the needful .
Ambassador Linus Chidebere Ogoke maintained that Joseph Biden is the same as Joe Biden in USA hence Francis and Frank like Babatunde is Tunde etc.
He expressed disgust that Okigwe zone and her Constituents have suffered great loss due to the inability of INEC to take a definitive stand on this . The APC Candidate, Frank Ibezim pulled the highest number of Lawful votes and therefore should be given the C.O.R in the interests of natural Justice, equity and fairlay.
Comrade Franklin Nwanya , Spokesperson for Christian Support Network in his Submission described the Okigwe Senatorial bye election as an abbatros on the side of Ndi Okigwe.
Earlier, the INEC office Owerri ably represented by Mr Mike Okolie lauded the Youths for their Peaceful disposition . He promised sending their Letter of Protest to the Management for Considerations.
Our reporter recalled that the Lacuna Okigwe seat at Upper Chambers of Nigeria’s National Assembly has truly denied representation and opportunities to the Youths of the zone, Women and Menfolk Chances of contributing their own qouta to national developments as none of their interests are been Considered.
