NIMASA EXTENDS CERTIFICATE VALIDITY

In a bid to keep seafarers in their respective jobs and ameliorate the hardship occasioned by Corona virus Pandemic, the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has extended the certificate validity date for seafarers aimed to cushion the effect of the global crisis caused by Covid 19 .

The decision was reached by the Management of NIMASA under the pragmatic and proactive leadership  of the Director General, Dr.Bashir Jamoh, in line with the Agency Cooperate Social Responsibility.

NIMASA since the out break  of Covid 19 have continued to introduce measures to stern the spread of the Virus and also provide palliatives to most stakeholders in the Maritime industry with a view to support the federal government of Nigeria in the eradication of Covid 19 in Nigeria.
