The head of Department Voter education and Publicity,has said, ” Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) Rivers State is ready and committed to deliver a free, fair and credible elections in Rivers State.
He disclosed this information in a chat with News Men today, adding, ” all necessary and needy logistics and materials for the elections have been concluded and available with a view to carry out a hitch free elections devoid of rancour and bitterness aimed to enthrone a stable and enduring democratic values. ”
He asserted that, ” INEC has done all needful in voter education and enlightenment with all critical stakeholders in the state aimed to checkmate possible lapses.The security Personnel have been educated on the manner to handle electoral violence and defaulters on the used of GSM phone in the cubicle during and after election.”
However,he assured voters and the aspirants of a free, fair and credible elections in Rivers State.”
