A Canadian citizen named Robert Lloyd Schellenberg, has been sentenced to death by Dalian Intermediate People’s Court in northeast province of Liaoning, China.
Recall he was sentenced to 15 years in Prison in November but the Prosecutors prayed the court that the judgement was too lenient and transferred the matter to Dalian Intermediate People’s Court,northeast province.
The judgement is likely to test the relations between Beijing and Ottawa, which has been tensed since Canada’s arrest of a Chinese executive at the request of the U.S in December .
