The South South Governors Forum has Called on Chief Justice of Nigeria,Walter Onnoghen,to ignore the Code of Conduct Tribunal(CCT)Summon.
This information was contained in a Communique issued by the South South Governors Forum after an emergency meeting held today in Abuja aimed to deliberate on the allegations levelled against the Chief Justice of Nigeria(CJN),Walter Onnoghen.
The Forum decried the Federal government alleged insensitivity and deliberate neglect on the plight of the Niger Delta region as exemplified in the abrupt removal and replacement of the then Director General of State Security Service,Matheaw seiyefa,an indigene of the Niger Delta Region.
The forum argued that due Process and procedures of investigating Chief Justice of Nigeria is through the National Judiciary Council (NJC) and adhered that the Federal Government should abide by the rules and regulations of the Land.
